Sometimes I can truly be an idiot. I had so much going through my head that I didn't realize until I got on the train for the airport exit that I might have misunderstood everything. While at first I thought that we were just being perfectly pleasant flight mates who simply enjoyed conversing with one another. It wasn?t until the end of the flight, when we deboarded the plane that you did something that caught my eye. A moment that would prove to haunt my dreams and live inside my head as I replayed the flight over and over. As each day has passed, the realization has fully sunk in. All the different things I could have said or done. The only remedy would have been to just turn around and go back to you so that I could?ve taken a quick rejection. Let's be honest here, I'm still batting from a tee compared to you. Who is this person that I can?t stop wondering about? How in this world did you leave such a big impact in such a short amount of time? How did you turn my weekend around and just like that become the silver lining to my trip to NY? Oh yeah, you hail from the city of angels. Remarkably fitting. I wish I wasn?t just some country boy who has no idea how to navigate the social media world. Perhaps then, I would know of a way that this message would be more likely to reach its final destination. I know my voice will get lost in the wind and I will probably regret this moment for some time to come. I write this now not because I actually think that this will reach you but rather this be symbolic of the good energy I've put into the universe on your behalf. Even though you might not have known what it was, I certainly hope the universe has spoken to you and that you have felt it.
