A neighbor of mine in Hermosa tragically passed away recently. Because he and I had been close over the years I have been helping his family with yard work and various tasks as they cleaned up his apartment. They posted several of his plants to various sites for people to come pick up for free. A very cute blonde girl with a French accent came by to check out one of the cactuses and I helped her take measurements to see if she could take it away. We chatted for a bit, and she seemed really kind. Unfortunately she left empty handed, and I never got her name or number. I didn?t even think to ask her for her info given the circumstances it didn?t come to mind. As I think about it more, it bothered me I didn?t even ask. Hoping that a new beginning can come out of this tragedy so I?m putting it into the universe.
