We were perusing the back corner of the store near the ‘Writing’ and ‘Books in Other Languages’ sections. At the checkout counter you commented on my green smoothie and my book choice titled ‘Metafiction’. I left without giving you my contact info and by the time I turned around and went back into the store, you were gone. You were so cute and so kind and I fumbled the interaction. Second chance?
