David Rodigan was killing his set and my friend and I made our way to the crowd to dance. Where we stopped, you were to the left of me and had on a striped button up shirt. From the corner of my eye, I kept feeling you look at me but I was too shy to make eye contact with you. After a few songs, my friend wanted to grab another drink so of course I started to follow her. As I walked away, you grabbed my arm and so I stopped and turned around. You asked me for my name and I said âEmily.â You told me yours but the music was so loud I didnât quite catch it and then you asked me for my number. I shouldâve given it to you then and there but I said âfollow meâ because I was already making my way out of the crowd to get my friend a drink and I was hoping we could find a quieter spot to exchange info. I kept waking thinking you were behind us but when I turned around I didnât see you. I tried to find you again after but no luck. Iâm hoping I run into you again at the next Dub Club event.
