First off, I may never tell anyone this is how we met. But the universe sometimes works in weirdly magical ways, and places you in opportunities to ask “why not?” and overthink someone you caught eyes with in public earlier that day. I thought it seemed funny that we were both shopping at Target, feeling sick, and couldn’t speak to one another due to being sick. With a desperate need to sooth our throats, we were both studying the various cough drops like we were observing great art at the Louvre in Paris.
