I was finishing up a Sunday sunset hike with my dog (a lab/spaniel mix) at Fyman Canyon. I passed by you and your friend, who was walking their dog (a golden retriever). We locked eyes before passing each other. I walked several feet before looking back at you, only to find you looking back at me.
