We were driving side by side together for what felt like an eternity. It was on the 101 and we made eye contact and smiled. You had such a beautiful smile... And then we just kept driving the same speed. At first I thought that was a coincidence — some great minds think alike stuff — and then I laughed at myself for the absurdity. I rolled my window down but was too shy to see if you were still looking over at me. When I was finally ready to yell “HI!” over the sound of the night air, you pulled into the AVA Apartments at Toluca Lake. It was right around 9:50pm. I wish I had said hi sooner.
